<....> Our theater and Alexander Vedernikov were linked by long-standing ties of partnership and friendship: in 1998, Alexander Alexandrovich, together with director Denis Krief, staged the play "Iolanta" by P.I. Tchaikovsky at the Helikon and conducted "The Barber of Seville" (staged by Marco Rossi and Enrique Mazzola) and the famous Helikon's direction "The Bat" by I. Strauss; he participated in the anniversary concert dedicated to the anniversary of his father, the great artist Alexander Vedernikov…
Co-creation with him was joyful and inspiring. He was a man with an incredible outlook, a professional of the highest level, and he easily and generously shared with us his knowledge, experience and mastery. Open, sincere, enthusiastic, fervent person…It is impossible to imagine that he is not with us! The world has lost a talented conductor. The memory of him will remain forever in our hearts.
