All tickets were sold out for three concerts of Russian musicians. Only one chord was enough, the first gloomy chord of Tchaikovsky's Francesca da Rimini, and the spirit of Russia wafted into the La Scala Theater. The day before yesterday, the orchestra of the Bolshoi, the legendary Moscow Theater, performed in Milan after more than thirty years of hiatus. Three concerts of the orchestra and choir conducted by Alexander Vedernikov were held as part of the program of cooperation between the two theaters (in May, the Bolshoi Ballet toured the Archimboldi Theater), the culmination of which will be the performance of La Scala in October 2009. at the opening of the Moscow Theater building upon completion of its four-year reconstruction.
